About us

We are a hard working, family of eight. Swimming in the sea when we aren't busy on our small holding. Daddy dragon has to work away a lot, so this blog is to let him keep up with our adventures at home.

A little bit of sunshine

We have had one or two days

that have offered a taste of spring.

Long awaited after the cool, dark winter.

Hopefully, beach days will soon be here.

Trying to get a photo of all 7

Happy 6th birthday hatchling no4

Breakfast this morning

Last night, the hatchlings and I made this rolo cheesecake, and put it in the fridge to cool.

It was one of those recipes that had the hatchling saying "can we eat it yet?" every 15 minutes,

so this morning, we could wait no longer, and it became breakfast.

Yum!

Finally Friday

I don't know why this week has felt so heavy, but it called for

chocolate cornflake nests and mini eggs.

The hatchlings made mosaic pictures. (Guinea pig, elephant, pac man and a pac man ghost)

I think I used up all my marbles his week; hence, arming small people with glue sticks and having 5 billion tiny squares of coloured paper all over my floor just wasn't enough.

I poured out a bag of red lentils and let them play.

Which kept them occupied for hours, but now we have a lentil infestation.

Sorry, daddydragon.

I will try to get them all up before you return.

Skype calls with daddy dragon

Skypes ringing!

The anticipation is killing me!

Is that Daddy? Or is it teasing me with the answer machine?

It is! it is Daddy!

Big sisterhood

Hatchling no6 was my worry, with hatchling no7's arrival.

I anticipated some jealousy.

She has proved me wrong.

Hatchling no7 is most definitely 'her baby'.

She comes in and checks on her each morning.

Eager to hold her baby sister.

Her adoration of hatchling no7 is returned generously.

Big sisterhood looks good on you, hatchling no6.

I am so proud of you.
