This morning the sky was bright. The frost clung on to the grass, already melting with the knowledge that its stay would be short lived.
Yet, the island is quiet. It is a mid week morning, one of those days you have to crawl out of bed.
It is awesome once you are up, and you feel the sun on your face, hot cup of coffee in hand, the smell of the salty crisp air.
Today, even the peedie sea found it had to kick off its watery duvet. It is nearly 15 minutes late for the tide to have gone out.
Sometimes, even mother nature has a lie in.
Today, I am thankful, I got out of bed, just a little late, but early enough to fit in our morning walk down to the peedie sea.
