This week has been a busy week for the chickens.
There are lives just begun,
lives that are moving on,
(I put the little sofa snoozers out to learn about being a chicken.)
and lives that have come to a close.
(Poor Dot was caught by a furry beast.)
It is kind of incredible just how much can disassemble and rearrange in just a day or two.
Today, I am thankful that my hatchlings are safe and well.
Poor Dot. She was such a friendly chicken. At least the Cockerel got the furry beast. The other chickens have nothing to worry about from that particular animal.
