It's great day to be alive

Well, the hatchlings long awaited spades came in the post today. (lol, who else would move to a sandy island and forget to pick up a few spades but me.)

So, off we went to find a little piece of sandy shore.

The hatchlings set to work.

Digging a moat.

For her castles.

A wooly sheep!

A great big grey cloud rolled in and hailed on us, so we returned home to grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. 

Then, I set about making the cheese cake I have been craving all week. I got a little carried away, and so I gave the hatchlings the excess chocolate cream cheese to make puddings.
